We recently completed one of the UK’s largest ever bridging loans, for £9m bridging loan against a portfolio of 6 properties in central London. The loan was made to an offshore company, secured against the assets of the company which were the 6 London properties. The loan unusually was made without personal guarantee from the company directors. The facility allowed a restructuring of the company, with the exit of the loan planned as being sale of the properties in due course.
